Selected Projects

We have successfully completed over 100 interactive projects of all sizes and in different real estate markets.
Here are a few examples:

111 West 57th Street

JDS Development Group + Property Markets Group

111 West 57th Street will not only change the New York City skyline but will also be one of the tallest buildings in the United States, as well as the world’s most slender skyscraper. Aeon Virtual created an interactive software to showcase the building, floorplans, renderings, and stunning views overlooking Central Park.

During our first conference call, we were surprised when the client asked, “Can you make the virtual model look like a Hugh Ferriss sketch?” She explained that Hugh Ferriss was an artist of the 1920’s who created architectural renderings with a unique style: his buildings were often portrayed at night, as though lit up by spotlights or in a fog. Our 3D artists were tasked with creating a real-time interactive model of the tower, Central Park, and hundreds of surrounding buildings, all in this unique Hugh Ferriss style.

The result is a virtual model with a look and feel unlike any other we have created.

The Greenpoint

Mack Real Estate Group + Urban Development Partners

This client wished to showcase their building and surroundings and to highlight the sweeping views of the East River and Manhattan.

Aeon Virtual created a full interactive software for the sales office that gives buyers access to the floorplans, renderings, amenity information, and more. After their appointment, prospective buyers receive floorplans and other information about the residences they liked, right in their inbox.

Sky

The Moinian Group

One of our first projects in New York, Sky is a rental tower in Midtown Manhattan. The interactive software we created for their wall-mounted touchscreens allows them to showcase their building, plans, amenities, and other marketing information on multiple touchscreens in their leasing office.

We also built hundreds of buildings around the project and added effects like rippling waves on the Hudson River and moving clouds in the sky. The entire virtual model can be seen both by day and by night.

Following the success of Sky, The Moinian Group has called us back to work on three more projects in New York City.

Waldorf Astoria New York

The Related Group

Related approached us with a specific challenge: in a very short timeframe, create an iPad application to help them with their pitch for the redevelopment of the Waldorf Astoria. They wanted a unique way to present their vision of the new condo-hotel hybrid to the delegates from Anbang Insurance Group, the Chinese firm who bought the building.

Our artists recreated the famous structure in virtual reality and added clean, simple massing model surroundings. The app also contained pages detailing their proposed renovations, along with floorplans and view photography.

The Helmsley Building

RXR Realty

Another New York City landmark, The Helmsley Building is an office building straddling Park Avenue. As part of the interactive leasing tool we created, the client sent us their floorplans and test fits, renderings, video animations, neighborhood map, and view photography.

RXR Realty also requested a 3D model of the building and surroundings for their interactive screens. Two challenges our artists faced were to recreate the famous copper roof and cupola and the dramatic LED light show on the facade.

Sparkle Towers at Dubai Marina

Tebyan Real Estate

For this waterfront project, Tebyan asked us to create a full software for their sales center, where they could show all of their marketing content. They also wanted to give their potential buyers the ability to walk around their condos, so we created 11 different units in fully-furnished, real-time virtual reality. Users can explore each home freely, even walking up to the windows to see the views of the Dubai Marina.

The 3D model includes dozens of buildings, moving water taxis, the Palm Jumeirah in the background, and the Dubai tram, which we made to pass by the two towers every couple of minutes. We also added a Sun Slider, allowing the sales agent to slide a finger on the touchscreen and change from day to night and admire the sunset on the water.

The project is being built in collaboration with Swarovski, and during production we learned it is called Sparkle Towers for a reason: the client asked us to make the virtual building model twinkle after the sun sets. We had a fun few days when, every time we sent in the final model for approval, the client would reply with “Please add more sparkles!”

88 & 90 Lexington Avenue

HFZ Capital Group

The iPad software we created for 88 & 90 Lex is unique in that the entire software consists of a virtual model of their amenities. The rest of the building was complete, but the amenity spaces were going to take several more months. HFZ Capital asked Aeon Virtual to create a software to help them show prospective buyers the amenities.

Aeon Virtual created the lounge, pool, gym, screening room, and children’s play area in full, real-time virtual reality. Condo buyers could now walk around and explore our virtual model of the entire 10,000 square feet of amenities.

We also integrated static renderings and added a ripple effect when you touch the surface of the swimming pool.

Edgewater at City Center

Block Multifamily Group

Block asked us to create an interactive iPad and touchscreen software for their Edgewater at City Center project in Lenexa, Kansas, along with two other similarly-sized multifamily developments.

We built a 3D model of the five apartment buildings, clubhouse, outdoor swimming pool, landscaped pond, and surrounding area. You can view the project from all angles and even fly down to dip into the rippling pool.

The client also asked us to create fully-furnished real-time walkthroughs of their 12 home types, so future tenants can check out the different floorplans before deciding which units they would like to visit.

Asbury Ocean Club

iStar

One of the key aspects of this resort-style residential project in Asbury Park, New Jersey, is the beachfront location. For this reason, Aeon Virtual made the ocean a focal point of the interactive 3D model we created for their sales gallery software.

Zoom into their amenity deck and slide your finger on the pool to create waves on the surface. Prospective buyers visiting the sales office will also find a link in their inbox when they get home. This link leads them to a personalized website, where they can revisit their favorite floorplans, views, and other project information on their phone or computer.

Ribat Al Bahr

Tanmiyat Group

Dubai-based developer Tanmiyat Group tasked us with creating a highly-detailed interactive virtual model for the launch event of their Ribat Al Bahr project. Near the capital of Mauritania, along four kilometers (2.5 miles) of beachfront, this 8 square kilometer (3 square mile) luxury development is capable of housing 50,000 people.

Aeon Virtual’s interactive touchscreen software was the centerpiece of the event, which coincided with a celebration of Mauritania’s 50 years of independence. Using a large touchscreen, the president and his delegates interacted with the virtual model, including rolling waves, a marina, a sports stadium, moving cars, bridges, boats, and over 4,000 buildings.

Touching a button sets the sun, revealing a view of the city by night, with a moon and stars overhead. The delegates were also delighted to discover the “fireworks” button we added as a bonus.

Athens Ridge

Oculus Development

Chicago-based real estate developer Oculus Development contacted us to create a leasing software for their new student housing development near Athens, Georgia.

We created over one hundred townhomes for their virtual reality leasing tool. University of Georgia students interested in housing used our software on touchscreens to explore the project in real time. They could touch a button to explore the on-site pool, the 25-person hot tub, and the lazy river that residents would float down on inner tubes.

Following the success of the Athens Ridge software, Oculus called us back to create leasing software for three more new student housing developments, in Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

Canary District

Dundee Kilmer Developments

Two major Toronto developers joined forces for this 35-acre master development in the eastern part of the city: Dundee Corporation and Kilmer Group. They contacted us to create a software for the Canary District sales center, including a virtual model of the large master plan.

We created a dozen buildings in real-time virtual reality, including the on-site YMCA, George Brown College’s first student residence, and condominium and apartment buildings. Our model also included the 18-acre Corktown Common Park, trails, and the neighboring Distillery District. We also created hundreds of additional buildings to model downtown Toronto itself, with the CN Tower and skyline visible in the distance.

District Griffin

Devimco

The developer for this large mixed-use project in Montreal first contacted us in 2012, when they were planning touchscreens for their sales office for their first four phases.

District Griffin launched sales in 2013, and since then, Devimco contacts us every year to add new buildings, floorplans, and renderings to the interactive software, as the project continues to grow.

Aura

Canderel Stoneridge

At 78 stories, the Aura tower in downtown Toronto is Canada’s tallest residential building and its fourth tallest building overall.

Canderel Stoneridge wanted to give their prospective buyers more than just a video of the penthouse interiors; they wanted users to be able to walk around and explore the penthouses freely, in real time.

To achieve this, we worked closely with their top architects and designers to create a virtual reality model with the look and feel of the final penthouses. From the marble floors to the kitchen appliances to the bedroom views, everything was replicated with precision. The largest penthouse was 17,000 square feet, and using our VR software, Aura sales agents were able to give potential buyers live tours of the entire home. For some extra fun, we also added the ability to turn the televisions on and off and ignite the fireplaces.

Al Zahia Shopping Mall

MAF Holding

UAE developer MAF contacted us to build an iPad app to help their agents lease space in their super-regional shopping mall.

The app starts with an interactive 3D model of the entire mall. Touching a button lifts away the roof to show the interior. During face-to-face meetings with potential retail tenants, leasing agents can then enter the mall virtually, giving a live walkthrough of the entire shopping mall in real time, all on the iPad.

The software helps potential retail tenants browse storefronts that fit their criteria. All floors of the gross leasable area of 130,000 square metres (1.4m sq ft) of the mall were modeled in detailed 3D, as well as the mall’s exterior and surrounding area.
